About Martha Hicks
I am a licensed Marriage & Family therapist offering skilled and caring counseling for individuals, couples, and families.
I specialize in individual therapy for depression, anxiety, and complex trauma. In couples counseling, I specialize in opening up lines of communication, resolving conflict and resentment, and infidelity. I also offer conflict management for those in the process of divorce, and post-divorce, to minimize long-term effects for any children involved.
I trained at one of the finest centers in New York: the Blanton Peale Institute, and have a graduate degree from Yale University. I am a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, NJ Association for Marriage and Family Therapists, and the New Jersey Association for Women Therapists.
With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual, couple, or family to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
